Same kiln, different duty regimes.
The plate does not change at the border — the paperwork does. The US, EU and UK now run three different duty regimes on Chinese ceramic tableware, each with its own food-contact benchmarks and quote arithmetic. These pages keep the numbers current, so landed cost is a decision rather than a surprise.
Duty regimes are moving. The EU applied a unified 79.0% anti-dumping duty from 7 February 2026 (Reg. (EU) 2026/274), the US removed its de-minimis exemption on 29 August 2025, and the UK has a review of company-specific rates opening 1 July 2026. Full tables and timelines in the Tariffs & Trade Guide.
Three regimes, three ways to quote.
United States
Section 301 List 3 adds 25%, reciprocal tariffs stack on top, and the de minimis parcel exemption ended 29 August 2025. All US programs quote DDP — duties prepaid, formal entry.
Europe
A unified 79.0% anti-dumping duty since 7 February 2026 ((EU) 2026/274), replacing company-specific rates. Quotes state duty and VAT in or out — never implied.
United Kingdom
Company-specific anti-dumping rates of 13.1–36.1% remain in force, with a TRA interim review opening 1 July 2026. Quoted through the rate channel that matches your entity.
The regime table buyers ask for.

| United Kingdom | Company-specific rates 13.1–36.1%; TRA interim review from 2026-07-01 | EC 84/500/EEC methodology; LFGB options | Through the company-specific rate channel |
| Other markets | No major trade-remedy measures (Canada, Australia, much of SE Asia) | Market-specific testing on request | Standard DDP or DDU |
Japan and Korea are serviceable markets — programs can be tested against their food-contact expectations, with third-party reports available on request.
Before you pick a lane.
Which market is simplest to land right now?+
Mechanically, the markets without trade-remedy measures — Canada, Australia, much of Southeast Asia. The US, EU and UK are all workable; they simply require the duty arithmetic to be done first, which is what duty-shown quotes are for.
Is duty included in your quotes?+
It depends on the market, and the quote says so explicitly: US programs default to DDP with duties prepaid; EU lines state whether the 79.0% anti-dumping duty and VAT are in or out; UK programs are priced through the company-specific rate channel.
Where do I find the underlying rules and timelines?+
The Tariffs & Trade Guide carries the duty tables, regulation references and review timelines per market, updated as regimes move. Each market page links to the sections that apply to ceramic tableware.
Tell us the destination. We will show the duty math.
Every quote states its duty treatment per line — included, excluded, or quoted through a company-specific channel. No landed-cost surprises at arrival.
