Ceramic Dinnerware Sets, Quoted to Spec
Complete ceramic dinnerware sets in high-fired porcelain, stoneware and bone china — from 12-piece starter programs to 56-piece gift lines — with glaze specs, compliance paths and MOQ stated before the deposit.
One set, four decisions.
A set program is bought once and judged at every meal. The outcome is decided by four choices made before production — not by the number on a proforma invoice.
Body. High-fired porcelain (fired at 1280–1380°C) is the default for retail and wholesale sets: thin, white and chip-resistant. Stoneware with reactive glazes suits ecommerce brands that want variation and an artisanal look. Bone china (fired near 1380°C with bone-ash body) carries gift and wedding programs. Underglaze-decorated porcelain serves wholesale and hotel lines where decoration must stay sealed under the glaze.
Glaze system. Underglaze and lead-free glaze routes carry a structurally lower lead and cadmium migration risk than on-glaze decoration — the detail behind clean results against FDA and CA Prop 65 screening. Reactive glazes get a written variation band agreed on golden samples.
Where sets go. Retail and ecommerce brands buy 12–16 piece programs at stock MOQ; wholesale distributors take 28-piece underglaze lines; hotels and restaurants run the reinforced 24-piece porcelain line; gift and wedding channels take the bone china gold-rim service.

Everyday White 16-Piece Set

Reactive Glaze Stoneware 12-Piece Set

Underglaze Blue 28-Piece Series
MOQs are typical for stock lines; custom development typically runs 1000–3000 pcs per item, driven by molds and glaze. Final MOQ is confirmed per SKU in your quote.
What to settle before you compare prices.
- Glaze system first. Underglaze and lead-free glaze routes carry structurally lower lead-cadmium migration risk than on-glaze decoration. Decide this before collecting quotes, not after a failed test.
- Specs that fit the table. Plate diameters in mm, bowl capacities in ml and place-setting logic should match your market. We chart them per SKU before you commit.
- Compliance by destination. Programs are built around FDA 21 CFR 109.16, EC 84/500/EEC with CE/DoC, LFGB and CA Prop 65. Third-party migration test reports are available on request.
- Packaging and MOQ as one decision. Retail box or bulk carton changes unit cost and breakage math. Stock set lines start at 500 pcs per item (typical).

Questions buyers ask about sets.
What MOQ should I plan for a dinnerware set program?+
Stock set lines typically start at 500 pieces per item. Custom development — new molds, custom glaze colors or your own piece configuration — typically runs 1000–3000 pieces, driven by mold and glaze setup. Final MOQ is confirmed per SKU in your quote.
Which food-contact rules apply to a full set?+
Each item type in the set is tested against the standard for your destination: FDA 21 CFR 109.16 for the US, EC 84/500/EEC with CE marking and Declaration of Conformity for the EU, LFGB for Germany, CA Prop 65 for California. Third-party laboratory migration test reports are available on request.
How are sets packed for shipping?+
Per-set retail boxes or bulk cartons, both packed to a written fragile-grade standard: individual wrap, cushioning and five-layer cartons. FBA and platform inbound is packed per set to pass a 125 cm drop test. A damage allowance is built into quotes and backed by a claims process.
